HAM AND TURKEY DRAW
Sunday 15th December 2019 was one of the annual events on the Ashford Bowling Club calendar. It was Ham and Turkey Draw day. The day event started with the childrens xmas party, far more important to the children than winning a ham. The draw began at 3:00pm and was kicked off by our life member Jack Minos. After the ham and turkey draw, the Womens Bowling Club held their toy raffle. It was excellent to see so many families turn up for the day.

An excellent night seemed to be had by all. It was brilliant to see so many dressing for the occasion.

P&C Drought Bowls Day
Ashford Central School P&C President Chris Doney.
The event held by the Ashford Central School P&C to held farmers forget about the drought for a time, was a tremendous success. Many non bowlers turned up for a game of bowls and had a good time.
Joe's joint provided an excellent meal after and everyone was entertained by Lacy on vocals and guitar. The children were keen to dance the rest of the night away.
It was good to see many children trying their hand at bowls and enjoying it.
