HAM AND TURKEY DRAW
Sunday 15th December 2019 was one of the annual events on the Ashford Bowling Club calendar. It was Ham and Turkey Draw day. The day event started with the childrens xmas party, far more important to the children than winning a ham. The draw began at 3:00pm and was kicked off by our life member Jack Minos. After the ham and turkey draw, the Womens Bowling Club held their toy raffle. It was excellent to see so many families turn up for the day.

Halloween Disco
An excellent night seemed to be had by all. It was brilliant to see so many dressing for the occasion.

P and C Drought Bowls Day
Ashford Central School P and C President Chris Doney.
The event held by the Ashford Central School P and C to held farmers forget about the drought for a time, was a tremendous success. Many non bowlers turned up for a game of bowls and had a good time.
Joe's joint provided an excellent meal after and everyone was entertained by Lacy on vocals and guitar. The children were keen to dance the rest of the night away.
It was good to see many children trying their hand at bowls and enjoying it.
Once A Year Two-Up on ANZAC Day
ANZAC Day breakfast well attended at the Ashford Memorial Bowling Club after the dawn service held outside the Ashford Memorial Pool. Lunch was held at the club after the service at the hall and later in the afternoon, the local RSL organised the traditional game of Two-Up.
Chairman's father celebrates 80th at the bowlo
On Saturday 2nd March, our chairman, Jason Luckett, hosted a birthday bash for his dad, John Luckett. A great time was had by all, especially John and family. Lots of dancing, good cheer and birthday celebrations.

Easter Pancake Fun
Joe's Joint hosted a decorate your own bunny pancake on Easter Saturday. It was an all you can eat affair and an all out success with the children on the day. Thanks to Joe and Natasha.

Work Placement with Joe's Joint
Four Ashford Central School Hospitality students spent some work placement time with the club's caterer, Joe Ticehurst. On the day they helped Joe and Natasha prepare a lunch time meal for the Inverell Home Support group. After the meal the home support group gave them a rating of 40/10 for the meal and preparation.
Inter Club Bowls Get Together
On Sunday 21st July 2019, Ashford Bowling Club hosted an inter club bowls competition. The day was well support by Warialda, Delungra and Bingara clubs.
Good spirit and bowls camaraderie were displayed by all in attendance. The results are as follows.
